A law graduate recounts a drama that occurred in a hospital after a man refused to sign a consent form for his pregnant wife to undergo C-section.
The law graduate identified as Didi Johnson revealed that the man had obstinately refused after she and the pregnant lady's sister had resorted to pleading for him to sign the consent form for C-section when it was clear she couldn't deliver the normal way.
However, the man had insisted that his wife must deliver their child the natural way.
She noted that the family had to contact the elders of the family who came and signed the form themselves.
"I spent half of my day today begging a husband to sign a consent form for his wife to be operated on for child delivery. Oga said NO. I saw Nollywood first hand today," she posted.
"For those saying "Why didn't she sign?" She was already in the theatre. Couldn't push. So they brought consent form, oga started trouble. The woman was already weak. We begged and begged. The last born arrived, she thought it was a joke until she saw his reaction. She called the elders in her family, they came and signed. I don't know how to describe this man but I definitely know he's not level headed," she added.
