Transfer: Aubameyang's contract set to be terminated

Al Qadsiah is set to terminate the contract of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

This will see the 36-year-old striker become a free agent this summer.

The Saudi Pro League side are eyeing a younger striker ahead of next season to replace Aubameyang.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Tuesday.

Romano wrote on X:

"Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, set to be available as free agent this summer.

"Understand Al Qadsiah and Auba are prepared to part ways on mutual consent as the Saudi Pro League side want to bring in a younger striker.

"Aubameyang, opportunity available with many clubs on alert."

Aubameyang, who has played for teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, could be set for a return to Europe.
