Prince Al-Waleed, the son of billionaire Prince Khaled bin Talal, who fell into a coma in 2005 following a car crash in the United Kingdom, reportedly wakes up.
The prince had landed in a coma in 2005 after a car accident while studying at a military college in the UK.
Since then, he has been on life support at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh and has relied on a feeding tube for nearly 20 years.
In 2015, doctors advised ending life support, but his father declined, expressing faith in a miracle. "If God wanted him to die in the accident, he would have already been buried," he said.
In 2019, the prince showed brief signs of responsiveness, such as moving a finger or turning his head, but reports indicate no further progress since then.
However, recent reports making the rounds online claims that the prince had woken up after 20 years.
Although, this remains unconfirmed by members of his family or other close relations.
