Two brothers in Enugu allegedly climbed onto the roof of their father's house and refused to come down until he settled them financially.
The incident was shared in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE.
According to the post, the brothers climbed onto the roof of their father's home and threatened to burn the building if their demands were not met.
A video circulating online shows residents intervening and rescuing the brothers.
In the footage, a man is seen using a ladder to reach one of the brothers on the rooftop and coax him back inside.
A pick-up truck, accompanied by security personnel, was also present to take the two individuals away from the scene.
The community's prompt action helped bring the situation under control.
